About

Beth Hintz, MS, Principal and Owner

I am an effective grant writer, editor, and nonprofit professional with 20 years of experience working with and raising funds for a variety of organizations within the education, environment, youth development, social service, social enterprise, and international development sectors. I am grateful for and honored by the opportunity to partner with amazing people and organizations in the Seattle area and beyond. To date, I have raised more than $34 million in gifts and grants.

My deep expertise in institutional funding and strategic grant programs is elevated by comprehensive experience in and understanding of fund development strategies and nonprofit management more broadly. I manage complex projects from start to finish and have a knack for translating an organization’s goals and impact into a compelling narrative. I hold a Certificate in Editing from the University of Washington, a Master of Science in International Public Service Management from DePaul University in Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Wheaton College in the Chicago area.

I am passionate about intersectional social justice and racial equity, and I seek to partner with and support clients who are working for a more just world. I am committed to understanding and working to undo how I, as a white woman, perpetuate systemic racism in my personal, professional, and community life. I am committed taking action to dismantle White supremacy—I acknowledge that its roots are deep and extend across all the interconnected social, environmental, and economic issues we face today. I acknowledge that I have been part of the problem, and I have a responsibility to be part of the solution.
